Winter is Coming -Make Quilts!

I had fun being a part of this fun challenge at Bad Ass Quilters Society at the Spool Quilt Shop in Chattanooga, Tennessee! I tossed many ideas in my head, but just settled with doing the piecing I love from Jaybird Quilts and using the Hex n more ruler. And it was a challenge to make sure the quilt finished at 18" and using only 4 fat quarters. I look forward to seeing all the entries and all the creativeness!

Quilts for Grandsons!

I was happy to give two quilts to my grandsons-just have 4 more quilts for grandsons to make, thankfully I've made and given to 2 already. Then, there are the granddaughters. Just to let you know I have 15 grand kids, so have to get busy!

Retro Rubies

I'm going to do this Quilt Along with Pile O Fabrics! I'm still collecting my fabrics, so I may get a late start! I also joined the group on Flickr so I can see others who are also participating!

Glamping

I made my Glamping Quilt using the technique from the book called Simple Pinwheels.  The quilt is hanging at Sylvia's Quilt Depot in Wasilla,AK. I'll be teaching the class in July!

I worked on my Block of the Month I got from Quilt Asylum featuring Tula Pink's fabric. Block one went together nicely. I am liking the Hex n more ruler from Jaybird Quilts!!!

Mine! 

One of my favorite quilts I made where I learned to love half square triangles! Took the class at Quiltzone in Anchorage, Alaska from Diana Bradley.

I gave up, but now I'm back!

Still haven't figured this out. I tried to post earlier and it didn't show up! I'll try again and ask some of my friends for help!

This my first modern quilt. It is on my design wall, ready to sew rows and I am excited to finish it!

I have a fun background ready for it. I got the idea from Pinterest. Mine is using 8" finished blocks. I never liked half square triangles until I was introduced to bloc-loc rulers and now I love them!!!!!
